SECTION – I

- Q. 5متن زیر را بہ فارسی ترجمہ کنید:As Iqbal's notes in the shape of Stray Reflections and his letters reveal, his mind after his return from Europe in 1908, was constantly seized of the problems of power and religion and their inter-relationship. It appears that this posture was motivated by the general pall of gloom which hung over the world of Islam. This view is strengthened by Allama's own words that the knowledge of the fundamentals of Islam is an essential prerequisite for a critical study of his poetry. He has also remarked that a study of the contemporary political and social conditions is must for the understanding of a philosophical system. The result of his constant reflections and contemplation during the years 1908-1915 appeared in the presentation of the doctrine of khudi.(20)

- Q. 7متن زیرا را بہ زبان انگلیسی ترجمہ کنید:حکایت طائفۂ دزدان عرب برسر کوهی نشستہ بود و منفذ کاروان بستہ رعیت بلدان از مکائد ایشان مرعوب و لشکر سلطان مغلوب بحکم آنکہ ملا ذے منیع از قلّہ کوهے گرفتہ بودند و ماوای و ملجای خودکردہ مُدبّران ممالک آن طرف در دفع مضرت ایشان مشاورت کردند کہ اگر این طائفہ همبرین نسق روزگاری مداومت نمایند مقاومت ممتنع گرد۔(20)

- (الف)نمی دانم چہ منزل بود، شب جای کہ من بودمبهر سو رقصِ بسمل بود، شب جای کہ من بودمپری پیکر نگاری، سرو قدی، لالہ ز خساریسراپا آفتِ دل بود، شب جای کہ من بودمرقیباں گوش برآواز، او در ناز و من ترساںسُخن گفتن چہ مشکل بود، شب جای کہ من بودمخدا خود میرِ مجلس بود، اندر لامکاں خسرومحمد(ص) شمع محفل بود، شب جای کہ من بودم
- (ب)رسید مژدہ کہ ایّام غم نخواهد ماندچنان نماند و چنین نیز هم نخواهد ماندتوانگر! دلِ درویش خود بہ دست آورکہ مخزنِ زر و گنج و درم نخواهد ماندسحر، کرشمۂ صُبحم بشارتی خوش دادکہ کس همیشہ گرفتار غم نخواهد ماندز مهربانی جانان طمع مَبُر حافظکہ نقشِ جور و نشانِ ستم نخواهد ماند
- (ج)بهرِ ایں فرمود با موسیٰ ؑ خداوقتِ حاجت خواستن اندر دُعاکاے کلیم اللہ ز من میجو پناہبادهانے کہ نکردی تو گناہگفت موسیٰ ؑ من ندارم آن دهانگفت ما را از دهانِ غیر خواںاز دهانِ غیر کے کردی گناہاز دهانِ غیر برخواں کاے اِلہٰ
- Part-II is to be attempted on the separate Answer Book.

- No Page/Space be left blank between the answers. All the blank pages of Answer Book must be crossed.
- Extra attempt of any question or any part of the question will not be considered.
