Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Mock CSS ("Mock CSS", "we", "our", or "us"). Mock CSS is a sole proprietorship based in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Mock CSS covering your access to and use of our web application, practice engines, diagnostic analytics, and exam-preparation services.

By creating an account, making a payment, or using any part of our platform, you accept these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are part of this agreement by reference. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

1. Eligibility & Account Security

  • Age & Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to register for or use the service.
  • Account Ownership: You must give us accurate, current, and complete registration details. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account.
  • Single-User License: Every Mock CSS account is an individual, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. Account credentials can't be shared, pooled, resold, sub-licensed, or transferred under any circumstances.
  • One Active Session at a Time: The platform allows only one signed-in session per account. Signing in on a new device or browser ends the session on every other device without prior notice; the previously signed-in device is signed out the next time it tries to interact with the platform. This is a standard technical control for switching devices (moving from a laptop to a phone, for instance) and is separate from, and doesn't replace, the account-sharing rules below.
  • Concurrent Access & Monitoring: We monitor access telemetry, including repeated or rapid switching between devices, browsers, or locations, device fingerprint consistency, and geographically implausible access patterns, to catch credential sharing even where the one-active-session rule above prevents true simultaneous use.
  • Zero-Tolerance Termination: If our logs indicate credential sharing, group pooling, or coordinated multi-device use (including people taking turns), your account will be terminated immediately, without prior notice and without a refund of any subscription fees. We may block credentials, IP subnets, and related identifiers from accessing the service. You can request a review of a termination under this clause within 14 days by emailing support@mockcss.pk; the review process and its limits are described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Intellectual Property & Acceptable Use

  • Proprietary Content: All exam questions, answer keys, explanations, reading passages, scoring algorithms, software code, UI designs, and diagnostic systems are the property of Mock CSS or its licensors.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to:
    • Harvest, scrape, crawl, index, or extract data from our question bank or platform using automated scripts, scrapers, browser extensions, or bots.
    • Try to bypass, circumvent, or overload our rate-limiting or anti-automation controls.
    • Systematically capture, screenshot, redistribute, publish, resell, or publicly display our question content, explanations, or answer keys.
    • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform's backend infrastructure or client applications.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the security, availability, or operation of the service.

Violating this section is intellectual property theft and platform interference, and will result in immediate loss of access and possible civil liability.

3. Subscriptions, Payments & Access

  • Manual Pakistani Payment Channels: Access is granted through manual verification only; we don't process automated card payments or recurring subscriptions. Pay one of our listed domestic accounts (SadaPay, Easypaisa, NayaPay, or bank transfer) and submit your transaction reference or receipt; access is activated or extended by 30 days once an administrator reviews and verifies it. Manual top-ups don't auto-renew: you submit a new payment each time you want to extend access. We can reject unverified, duplicate, or fraudulent transaction references.
  • Content Tiers & Quotas: Free accounts get a limited monthly allowance of Full MPT Mock attempts, plus a fixed set of designated free Past Papers and Practice Sets you can retake without limit. Premium MPT Tier features, including full question explanations, the complete Past Paper and Practice Set libraries, Custom Mock generation, and advanced sub-section diagnostics, are unlocked only while you have an active paid period.
  • Pricing Changes: We may change pricing at any time. A price change doesn't affect a top-up you've already paid for; it applies from your next payment onward.
  • No Refunds: Because digital exam content and diagnostic data are delivered immediately, subscription fees and manual verification payments are non-refundable, except where required by law or set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Accounts terminated for violating these Terms (account sharing or scraping, for example) forfeit any remaining balance.

4. Simulator Mechanics & Examination Integrity

  • Server-Authoritative Timing: Timed exams (a 200-minute mock, say) run on server-side countdown timers. Your answers are saved as you go, and the timer keeps counting down even if your device is powered down, disconnected, or closed.
  • Network & Local Interruptions: We're not responsible for lost exam time, missed submissions, or grading problems caused by local internet outages, browser crashes, device failures, or other connectivity issues on your end.
  • Answer Key Disclosure: To protect exam integrity and prevent answer harvesting, full answer keys and explanations are only shown for questions you actually attempted. If you leave more than a quarter of an attempt's questions unanswered, the answer keys and explanations for those unattempted questions are withheld entirely, even where they'd normally be shown. This exists purely to stop people skipping through a paper to harvest answers without attempting it.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Educational Disclaimer: Mock CSS is an independent prep platform and diagnostic simulator. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) or any Government of Pakistan agency.
  • No Guarantee of Examination Results: Our mocks and scoring are designed to reflect the official syllabus weighting and conditions, but we make no promise that using the platform will get you a pass on the CSS Preliminary Test (MPT), or any specific score.
  • Content Accuracy & Question Flagging: We work hard to check our question bank against official FPSC past papers and syllabi, but we can't guarantee every question, answer key, explanation, or historical record is completely accurate or free of typos and clerical slips. A small margin of error can occasionally happen. You can report a disputed question during an attempt or on the results screen through "Flag for review"; our administrators audit these, and an error in an individual question doesn't count as a platform failure, a breach of service, or grounds for a refund.
  • "As-Is" Service Delivery: The service is provided "as-is" and "as-available," without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory. We don't promise the service will always be available, secure, or error-free.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the extent the law allows, Mock CSS and the proprietor aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, profits, goodwill, or exam opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform. Our total liability won't exceed what you've paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law.

6. Suspension & Account Termination

We can suspend or terminate your account, and your access to the exam engines and platform, without prior notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms or our Privacy Policy.
  • Our telemetry shows evidence of credential sharing, account renting, or automated content harvesting.
  • You submit fraudulent, altered, or duplicate payment references.
  • A legal, governmental, or law enforcement mandate requires it.

Where an account is terminated solely on the basis of automated access telemetry under Section 1, you can request a review within 14 days of termination by emailing support@mockcss.pk. Terminations for confirmed payment fraud, credential resale, or content scraping are final.

7. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We can alter, update, or discontinue platform features, pricing, or these Terms at our discretion. When we publish an update, we'll amend the "lastUpdated" date at the top of this document. Continuing to use the platform after revised Terms are posted means you accept the changes.

8. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund & Cancellation Policy together form the entire agreement between you and Mock CSS about the service, and replace any earlier understanding.
  • Severability: If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, we'll limit or remove it to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest stays in effect.
  • No Waiver: If we don't enforce a right or provision here, that doesn't mean we've waived it.
  • Assignment: You can't assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to a successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Governing Language: These Terms are written in English. If translated, the English version controls in case of a conflict.
  • Force Majeure: We're not liable for a failure or delay caused by events outside our control, including internet or hosting outages, power failures, natural disasters, or government action.
  • Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and don't affect interpretation.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any dispute related to your use of Mock CSS, are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any legal action under these Terms falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan. Please contact us at support@mockcss.pk and try to resolve a dispute informally before starting formal proceedings.
