What aspirants are saying

Real feedback from candidates using Mock CSS to prepare.

Convenient and useful. Started with the free mocks and stuck with the full mock library instead of going back to my old notes.

Theek platform hai overall, content quality bohat achi hai, purani photocopy se kahin behtar hai.
Shahzad Iqbal
@shahzad.iqbal · Sep 2026
The detailed explanations after every attempt are what actually stuck with me. Reading the reasoning teaches you more than a printed answer key ever did.
Rabia Hussain
@rabia.hussain · Sep 2026
Being able to build a custom mock with just the sections I want to drill is exactly what I needed. Pick a mode and go, no clutter.
Noman Sultan
@noman.sultan · Sep 2026
Been really happy with this for CSS prep overall. The trend chart keeps me honest about whether I'm actually improving.
Nida Shah
@nida.shah · Sep 2026
Sahi platform hai practice ke liye, is hafte teen mocks laga chuka hoon aur farq saaf pata chal raha hai. Written Paper MCQ Bank bhi aane wala hai, wo bhi try karunga zaroor.
Waleed Akhtar
@waleed.akhtar · Sep 2026
Bohat acha platform hai, especially General Knowledge ki MCQs ke liye. Purani PDF files se kahin behtar hai.
Bilal Mahmood
@bilal.mahmood · Sep 2026
Good question variety across all five subjects, and every past paper since MPT started is right there. That alone made this worth it.
Kashif Mehmood
@kashif.mehmood · Sep 2026
Great experience overall. The subject-wise scoring showed me I was weaker in General Abilities than I expected.
Talha Sheikh
@talha.sheikh · Sep 2026
Does what it says, no gimmicks, a proper mock test engine with real past paper questions mixed in. Already beats the random photocopy packs I used before.
Imran Sadiq
@imran.sadiq · Sep 2026
Leaderboard thoda competitive feel deta hai, jo motivation ke liye acha hai. Rank dekh kar mehnat karne ka dil karta hai.
Fahad Qureshi
@fahad.qureshi · Sep 2026
Laga tha ye sirf MCQs honge, lekin syllabus breakdown aur performance analytics dekh kar pata chala kaafi soch samajh kar banaya gaya hai. Coaching center ke notes se zyada organized hai.
Ahsan Raza
@ahsan.raza · Sep 2026
The full mock feels exactly like exam day, same question count, same time limit, same section balance. No printed guidebook ever recreated that pressure.
Usman Tariq
@usman.tariq · Sep 2026
Great value for what you get. The syllabus coverage feels thorough, built to mirror the real exam pattern.
Salman Yousafzai
@salman.yousafzai · Sep 2026
Really solid platform overall, the attempt history makes it easy to see which mocks I need to revisit. Also excited about the Answer Writing Evaluator planned for the written papers.
Danish Ahmed
@danish.ahmed · Sep 2026
Real paper attempt karne se pehle is se practice karna bohat kaam aaya, confidence level bohat behtar hogaya. Stat aur Quote Vault ka bhi suna hai aa raha hai, essay ke liye kaam aayega.
Faisal Rehman
@faisal.rehman · Sep 2026
Started with the free mocks to test it out and upgraded within the week. The explanations alone beat the guidebooks I'd already bought.
Mahnoor Siddiqui
@mahnoor.siddiqui · Sep 2026
The custom mock builder lets me drill just General Knowledge instead of sitting a full paper every time. Excited for the Outline Generator too, once I get to the written papers.
Zeeshan Malik
@zeeshan.malik · Sep 2026
Simple and effective, the dashboard tells me exactly where I stand without digging through a pile of paper results. Saw the Vocabulary Builder listed as coming soon and can't wait for that one.
Iqra Yousuf
@iqra.yousuf · Sep 2026
It explains wrong answers properly instead of just marking them, which no photocopied answer key bothered to do. One of the best decisions I made for my prep.
Komal Iqbal
@komal.iqbal · Aug 2026
Started using this after a friend recommended it. The answer explanations are written better than most paid guidebooks I've bought.
Sobia Nawaz
@sobia.nawaz · Aug 2026
Attempt history aur trend chart dekh kar pata chal jata hai progress ho rahi hai ya nahi, PDF ya photocopy se ye kabhi nahi milta. Current Affairs Digest ka bhi wait kar rahi hoon, roadmap mein dekha tha.
Sana Malik
@sana.malik · Aug 2026
It's basically the closest thing to sitting the real MPT before actually sitting it. Keeping an eye on the Precis and Composition module they're building next.
Anum Zafar
@anum.zafar · Aug 2026
Happy with the experience so far. Would genuinely suggest it to anyone starting their MPT prep instead of relying on secondhand notes.
Junaid Aslam
@junaid.aslam · Aug 2026
Har mock ke baad jo breakdown milta hai wo bohat kaam ka hai, pata chal jata hai kis subject mein zyada ghaltiyan ho rahi hain. Handwritten notes mein ye tracking possible hi nahi thi.
Hina Kanwal
@hina.kanwal · Aug 2026
Preparing for CSS while working full time, I can practice on my phone whenever I have some time to spare. No paper mock ever handled that.
Zara Baig
@zara.baig · Aug 2026
Been a real help throughout my preparation. Sitting a full paper against a real countdown teaches time management far better than solving at home with no clock.
Owais Farooq
@owais.farooq · Aug 2026
Mujhe past papers wala section sab se zyada pasand hai, pata chal jata hai actual paper ka level kya hota hai. Market ki guess papers se kahin behtar hai.
Amna Riaz
@amna.riaz · Aug 2026
The one-question-at-a-time format keeps me focused instead of skimming ahead. My accuracy has improved since I dropped the photocopied notes for this.
Hira Aslam
@hira.aslam · Aug 2026
Good platform for CSS prep. The interface is clean and doesn't get in the way of studying, unlike juggling ten PDF files.
Adeel Nawaz
@adeel.nawaz · Aug 2026
Mera favorite cheez performance breakdown hai, pata chal jata hai kaunsa subject dobara parhna hai. Purani academy notes mein ye tracking bilkul nahi thi.
Rimsha Aftab
@rimsha.aftab · Aug 2026
Started sitting a mock every day and it already feels more useful than the whole stack of guidebooks on my desk.
Hamza Raza
@hamza.raza · Aug 2026
Good platform, does exactly what it promises. The Islamic Studies section alone beats every loose note I was using before.
Mehwish Tabassum
@mehwish.tabassum · Aug 2026
Good question bank, real past papers included. Helped me get a feel for actual exam difficulty instead of guessing from old guidebooks.
Saima Chaudhry
@saima.chaudhry · Aug 2026
Switched from photocopied MCQ booklets to this and it's genuinely worth it. The performance breakdown tells me exactly which subjects to revise.
Sadia Pervaiz
@sadia.pervaiz · Aug 2026
What sold me was the detailed review after every attempt, seeing exactly why an answer was wrong instead of just a red cross. Really looking forward to the Essay Evaluator they've announced too.
Ayesha Khan
@ayesha.khan · Aug 2026
Clean interface and it works properly on mobile too, which matters when my only study time is on the commute. Beats carrying MCQ booklets around.

Frequently Asked Questions

The MPT (MCQ-based Preliminary Test) is the first stage of the CSS Competitive Examination: a single 200-question, 200-minute objective paper covering English, General Knowledge, General Abilities, Islamic Studies (or the alternative paper), and Urdu. It's qualifying only, screening candidates down to a serious pool before the written papers; your MPT score is not added to your final merit.

Yes. The free tier gives you 3 Full MPT Mock attempts a month, plus 1 free Past Paper and 3 free Practice Sets you can retake as many times as you like, forever, at no cost and no credit card required. The paid tier removes the monthly cap on Full MPT Mock attempts, unlocks the full Past Paper and Practice Set library, adds Custom Mocks, deeper sub-section analytics, and answer explanations; see the Pricing page for the full comparison.

Every question is tagged to a section and sub-section matching the official CSS MPT syllabus weightages: see the MPT Syllabus page for the full breakdown by subject and marks.

The 13,000-question bank is built from authentic CSS MPT past papers plus hand-curated FPSC-pattern practice questions, reviewed for accuracy. If you spot an issue with a question, you can flag it during the test or from the review screen for our team to check.

No. A wrong answer and a blank answer both score zero, so there is no penalty for guessing. Attempt every question: leaving one blank never helps you, and answering it always has a chance of paying off.

The MPT for CSS 2027 is scheduled for 10 October 2026. FPSC sets the exact date each cycle, so confirm the official notification closer to the day, and see the MPT Syllabus page for the full section breakdown.

Both are used. FPSC names the exam cycle 2027, but the MPT sitting for it is on 10 October 2026, so you will see either year on notices and study sites.

Start with the syllabus weightages so you know where the marks are. Then solve past papers against the 200-minute clock, sit a few full mocks, and go back to the sections where you lose the most marks. The free tier includes 3 Full MPT Mock attempts a month.

Yes. The free tier has 3 Full MPT Mock attempts a month, the MPT 2024 past paper and 3 Practice Sets, with no credit card needed.

The qualifying bar is 33% (about 66 of 200), which is low relative to full CSS preparation, but FPSC has raised the MPT's difficulty year on year, leaning harder on applied reasoning and current affairs than straight recall. Since it's qualifying only, there's no 'good score' beyond clearing 66: a candidate who scores 34% and one who scores 80% enter the written stage on equal footing, so treat it as a hurdle to clear cleanly, not a paper to over-invest in.

Every submitted mock feeds a dashboard broken down by section and, on the paid tier, sub-section, so instead of one overall score, you see exactly which topics are pulling your average down and can target revision there.

Yes, past papers (2022-2025) are digitized directly from the original CSS MPT question sets, not recreations or paraphrases. Fresh mocks are generated to the same syllabus weightages and 200-question, 200-minute format as the real screening test.

A Past Paper attempt uses one specific year's original question set, in its original order. A Practice Set uses a fixed question set curated by our team, so you can retake it and measure your progress against the same questions. A Full MPT Mock draws a fresh, syllabus-scaled set of 200 questions each time. All three run under the same 200-minute timed format and count toward your leaderboard score.

Yes, your progress, including answers already selected and any flags, is saved on our servers as you go, not just in your browser. If you get disconnected or close the tab, resume exactly where you left off from your attempt history.
